Great Temple Of Lord Shiva
India is known for his mysterious temples. Even science has been unable to understand their mysteries. Knowledge of historians is nothing in front of these temples. We have already talked about many mysterious temples. But today we are going to talk about that temple, which is an example in itself. We are talking about Somnath Temple, which has many secrets buried. This temple is located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Saurashtra on the west coast of Gujarat. Jyotirlinga located in this temple is the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva. This Jyotirlinga shows the infinite Jyoti form of Shiva. In history, you will find that the Shivling of Somnath temple was hanging in the air. The fame of this temple is spread all over the world. Because it is considered the oldest Jyotirlinga. That is why there were many attacks on this temple. This temple was plundered and destroyed thousands of times. There is no concrete proof related to the construction of this temple. But you can see the description of this temple in Vedas and Puranas. In history, it is mentioned that Al-Junayd the ruler of Arabia had destroyed it. It was rebuilt later. However, those who had destroyed the Somnath temple, their empire were not long lasting. In just a few years, all those rulers were destroyed themselves in mutual contexts. However, many temples of India have been attacked by foreign forces and robbers. But even after breaking the temple, they couldn’t succeed in erase the history of Somnath. Several attempts were made to destroy the “Shivling” which is hanging in the air in this temple. But no one succeeded. Later syamantaka mani was removed from here. And then this Shivling was put on the ground. Nobody knows where is the syamantaka mani. The Somnath temple we see today, it was built in 1947. The description of this temple is found in Shri Bhagavad Gita, Shiva Purana, and Rigveda. This is the reason that it is called the most important place of pilgrimage. Even today, scientists argue differently on that “Shivling” which was hung in the air. They believed that the ancient Hindu people had been very good knowledge of magnetic power. Even scientists have found evidence of radioactivity around this temple. In the past several thousand years this Jyothirlinga has faced thousands of attacks, but it still exists. And these prove the power of Shiva, that evil is always defeated in the end.
