In our society today, women and men have attained equality status. And there are many areas where women are ahead of men’s. But even today, there are some practices in our country and due to those practices, women are not able to get their rights. India has many religious places where there is still the restriction on entry of women. Today we will talk about those religious places where entry of women is prohibited.

Padmanabhaswamy Temple Of Kerala: – It is one of India’s most mysterious and rich temples. In this temple located in Thiruvananthapuram, the entry of women is still prohibited. This Vaishno temple is one of the oldest Vishnu temples in India. Several years ago, the statue of Lord Vishnu was found in this place. Then it was decided that the temple of Lord Padmanabhaswamy will be built here.

Muktagiri Temple: – This Jain temple is situated on the border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Women cannot wear Western civilization clothes in this temple. This is the oldest and famous temple of Jain society.

Jama Masjid Of Delhi: – One of the oldest mosques of Muslims, here is the prohibition of entry of women in the mosque after the evening. This mosque has been given the status of the most influential mosque.

Sabarimala Temple Of Kerala: – Sabarimala Temple, one of the most famous temples of Kerala, is well known for its miracles. People from all over the world come here to see Lord Ayyappan. But the entry of women is also prohibited in this temple. Here women are not allowed to enter.

Haji Ali Dargah Of Mumbai: – This dargah is always open to people of all religions. It is said that the vows of all the people coming here are fulfilled. This dargah situated on a small island near Worli terrain of Mumbai, people come here from far away to fulfill their dreams. But it is unfortunate that entry of women in the main and inner areas of this dargah has been prohibited. It is a belief that according to Islam women are not allowed to go to near the tombs. Therefore entry of women is prohibited here.

Kartikeya Temple of Rajasthan: – Although Rajasthan is famous for its Brahma temple located in Pushkar. But the Kartikeya temple located in Pushkar is a special center for people’s faith. Unfortunately, the women are not allowed to go to this temple. This is mainly due to the unmarried character of Kartikeya.

Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah Of Delhi: – This Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah situated in south Delhi was built to remember the fourth saint of the Chisti community, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya. Saint Hazrat Nizamuddin used to follow Vairagya religion. Perhaps, for this reason, women are not allowed to enter this dargah.
