5 Traitors Who Sold India To Foreign Forces For Their Benefit:-
Jaichand: – Whenever the name of Prithviraj Chauhan will be taken in the future, then Jaichand will also be remembered. In India, if you have to give an idiom for the traitor, then the name of Jaichand is used as an example. Jaichand ruined the country and brought people from other country and help to settle them. King of Kannauj Empire was Jaichand. There was very old hostility between Prithviraj Chauhan and Jaichand. There were always wars happened in between these two. Prithviraj Chauhan and Princess Sanyogita loved each other very much. Prithviraj Chauhan had kidnapped Princess Sanyogita from her Swayamvar. Because of this act of Prithviraj Chauhan, Jaichand’s hatred increased. Now he wanted to beat Prithviraj Chauhan at any cost. Jaichand’s detectives told him that Muhammad Ghori wants to take revenge for his defeat from Prithviraj Chauhan. After that Jaichand planned with Muhammad Ghori to end Prithviraj Chauhan. Jaichand knew that he would not win Prithviraj alone by a war. That is why he joined hands with Muhammad Ghori. The result of Raja Jaichand’s betrayal was that Muhammad Ghori was defeated by Prithviraj in the war of Tarain. Now he was again plotting against Prithviraj Chauhan. In 1192, once again Prithviraj Chauhan and Muhammad Ghori’s army ready to fight each other. There were more than 300000 soldiers in Prithviraj’s army, and there were 120000 soldiers in Ghori’s army. A fierce war starts in both sides. But the powerful thing of Ghori’s army was that he had a squad of horsemen. Prithviraj fought with Ghori’s army with great courage. During the war, Ghori’s horsemen surrounded Prithviraj’s elephants and attacked them with arrows. Because of the panic, elephants started crushing their own army. According to the rule of war, Prithviraj’s army did not invade at night. But the soldiers of Ghori were attacking at night. Finally, Prithviraj faced the defeat in this war and he was made bound. Condition of traitor Jaichand was worse, Ghori murdered him and captured Kannauj.
